A Organização Americana de Professores de Português é uma organização sem fins lucrativos criada em 2007 com o objetivo de promover o ensino da Língua Portuguesa, auxiliando professores nos EUA com o processo de certificação, fornecendo desenvolvimento profissional e facilitando a comunicação entre  professores.
